We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
The Settings page has a new layout that makes settings easier to find and edit.
Search settings: search all settings by name, or within one category.
Clearer menu: settings are now grouped by area, and each one has a short description of what it’s for.
Editing that fits the setting: settings open in a drawer, and how you edit depends on the size of the setting:
Small lists (for example code and description) are edited directly in the row and saved when you leave it.
Medium-sized settings open in a popup.
The largest settings, such as work order types and asset types, open in a drawer.
Prefer popups? You can turn off editing in the row under Edit rows → In a popup. The choice applies to every settings list on that device.
Global search: the search in the main menu now finds both pages and settings.
