We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
You can now mark fenders, buoys, work zones and notes directly on a mooring plan. Until now, the mooring plan map only had mooring lines and measurements.
Open a quay visit that has a mooring plan. Use Object and Free text in the map toolbar.
Objects: choose Object, pick a square, triangle or circle, and drag on the map to draw it. Select an object to resize or rotate it, give it a description and choose a colour. Use Copy to quickly add several identical objects, for example a row of fenders.
Free text: click anywhere on the map to add a text label.
Scale: a scale bar in the lower left corner adjusts to the zoom level and is also included when you export the mooring plan.
Objects and texts are saved with the mooring plan. They’re copied along with the rest of the mooring plan when the vessel has a new port call at the same quay. Hover effects and cursors now show more clearly what you can click, move or resize.
