We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
We have now added functionality to calculate waste fees per day, in addition to per call.
One waste fee is then calculated per 24 hour the vessel stays in port. The settings “minimum hours for new day (vessel fees)” and “hours for half day” are used to control whether the laytime that exceeds a whole set of 24 hour periods should given one or a half additional fee. If a value is entered for “minimum hours for new day (vessel fees)” the exceeding laytime will give an extra fee if it is greater or equal the specified value, otherwise no additional fee. If no value is entered for “minimum hours for new day (vessel fees)”, the exceeding laytime will give a half extra fee if it is greater or equal “hours for half day”, otherwise a whole extra fee (similar to how the quay fees are calculated).
